FlashPad™ HD X-ray Detector
Senior Product Manager
As product manager I owned the product lifecycle and customer experience of this digital detector. During the Covid-19 epidemic I worked cross-functionally and with our key suppliers to ensure that all mobile and fixed system orders were delivered while keeping the customers in the install base up and running if failures occurred.
I also ran a project aimed at reliability improvements by driving both SDK and FPGA updates to remove an image quality failure mode. In parallel we also were able to update the labeling to meet MDR requirements, resulting in $2M material savings and 800 hours in FE labor annually.
I also had the opportunity to help with the AMX™ Navigate Roadshow where we brought the Navigate with the FlashPad™ HD to customer sites around the USA. During this marketing campaign I was able to meet with customers and listen to their feedback and gain valuable insights for the detector roadmap.
The FlashPad™ HD is the standard X-ray detector offering by GE HealthCare serving both mobile and fixed systems. This detector series comes in three different sizes which technologists can choose to use depending on the product and patient anatomy required.
